I took a little break from the blog last week. Not on purpose or anything. We had a tiny hiccup with our bathroom. I’ll explain later. First, let’s talk about some really fun things we’re adding to the bathroom!

The accessory situation is not great in here. We need to buy everything new, basically. The biggest eye sore in the room was the toilet brush. It’s plastic, entirely too conspicuous, and frankly, GROSS.

So I did a little online surfing and found this and fell. in. love. It would fit perfectly between the toilet and the vanity, and best of all, it holds both the toilet paper AND brush. Win-win, if you ask me. It’s really cool looking, almost like a sculptural piece.

Yeah, it’s pricey. But you know what they say?

As I started customizing the bathroom, I realized something important. This is MY bathroom. My husband rarely, if ever, uses it. I’ve added some girly touches to it, like this fine (ffooiiiineee!) painted vanity. So I started looking for a girly art print to hang, but to no avail.

Then I found THIS! Butterfly wallpaper border? So perfect. It’s $25 for a 15′ roll, but I think it’s worth it. It has so many colors in it that will make accessorizing a cinch.

So what do you thing? Like it or love it?

Or, happy April Fools’ Day? AH HA, YA BURNT.

Dudes and ladies, I hope you did not think I was for realz. How ridiculous is the notion of spending $400 on something you’re going to STICK IN YOUR TOILET. The butterfly wallpaper? No thank you please.

Hope everyone had a nice weekend and I hope you get to pull some major jokes on your friends and family today. Feel free to leave your diabolical plans below, or perhaps, detail how someone else has burnt ya today.
